Final project production blog

 

    I'll be working on this final project with Anna Cleary, a classmate of mine. I was going to work alone at first, but I decided to get a partner because I was a little unsure about the work. She had some of her plans in place, but she wanted to restart so that we could collaborate. We did, however, come up with an idea fairly quickly. We'll be shooting the first scene of a romantic comedy.  We are planning to begin filming next week and hopefully have all of the filming done by spring break.  We have asked a few of her friends to help us act in the production. Her friend Daylana is going to be the main female character. She wakes up in the morning and does her normal morning routine only to realize what was really going on. We will be using spring break in the time available afterward to edit the film. We are still working on a few parts of the planning before we begin filming. During the process, Anna will be directing and filming, while I help with the filming process, I also will be doing the editing and sound for our production. We plan to have multiple sets. It will begin in a girl's bedroom and spread throughout her home. She'll start having nightmares about a terribleaccident. Those shots of the crash will be taken in a garage or a parking lot. The girl will be dressed in light-colored clothes, primarily light pink, white, or red. To offer her character's personality a softer, happier tone.

Production Blog final task

    Many of the filming processes have been disrupted for about a week. We're also trying to find out when we'll be able to restart the filming. We're hoping to do it this week during peak daylight hours. To reshoot the entire movie's opening sequence. After reviewing the footage from the previous attempt, we decided to tweak a few minor details. To make the actress stand out more to the audience, we will change her outfit to a lighter choice. For the actress and the specifics to be more lit up, I'll change the lighting to natural light. The camera angles would also be altered to better accommodate the actress's gestures. The setting will be altered to create a more dreamlike atmosphere. I'll also be working on the character's dialogue.

AICE Commercial Reflection questions

Name: Joshua Turk 1.   How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?       When I was filming my commercial, I wanted to make it seem as realistic as possible. I planned on doing it at a baseball field with great weather conditions. Unfortunately, I could not because the weather was not cooperating and the field was flooded. So I resolved to my backup plan. I filmed in a grass field area with a bit of rain.
